New figures from the Child Maintenance Service show nearly 130,000 Collect & Pay parents paid more than 90% of maintenance due.

- The government says the number paying nothing fell about 19% since March 2025, while the service supports almost 1.6 million parents.

Why it matters: The figures describe payment compliance among parents using the government service, not all child maintenance payments.
