The Foreign Office advises against all but essential travel to Tecate and parts of Tamaulipas, with exceptions in Tamaulipas not fully specified in the source.

- The warning covers Tecate and roads between Tijuana and Tecate in Baja California.
- The Foreign Office says Baja California Sur is not affected by these warnings.
- It warns that travel against its advice could invalidate insurance.

Why it matters: The advice identifies areas where the UK government recommends limiting travel.
