A checked feed can be quiet. Counts show current briefs using that feed, not how many stories it published. Several feeds from one organization count as one source group. The desk filter describes each feed’s main topic.

Original headline desks

Unchanged, attributed headlines link to the publisher’s full report. The group named on each desk identifies shared ownership or government; several desks from one group do not provide independent corroboration. They are separate from verified briefs and excluded from our RSS, Markdown and MCP exports. Counts describe eligible titles in the current display snapshot, up to 15 per desk; the searchable index can hold more. A checked feed can have no recent headlines.

Feed health says whether we could retrieve a feed. It is not a judgment of its accuracy, politics or independence. Publication still requires our sourcing and claim checks. Primary announcements represent the issuing organization’s position.
